Person Suffers Critical Injuries After Falling Through Roof In Hudson Valley

A person suffered critical injuries after falling through the roof of a home in the region.

The incident occurred in Dutchess County, in the Red Oaks Mill area of Arlington, at 12:50 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11.

According to Arlington Fire District Deputy Chief Adam Kangas, the unidentified victim was found to have sustained severe injuries and required transport to a Level One trauma center.

Kangas said Arlington Fire and Empress paramedics treated the victim on the scene and transported them to a landing zone established at the Dutchess County Regional Airport.

The patient was transported to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. 

The patient's name has not been released. Their condition was not available on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
